Yellowstone Peoples 501c3
Yellowstone Peoples is a Native-American nonprofit organization that includes Tribal members from the Greater Yellowstone affiliated Indigenous nations of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and beyond.

Vision Statement
Through the establishment of a permanent, annual, intertribal and multi-generational Tipi Village in the Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone Peoples seek to revitalize Tribal culture in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and provide Native youth with educational and mentorship experiences and introduce them to potential career path opportunities. • Providing culturally enriching experiences to everyone involved and adding content information for Yellowstone Park’s interpretation and signage.
• Providing training and mentoring Tribal college scholars to become the next generation of Tribal community ambassadors in the YNP.
• Building Indigenous nationhood and sovereignty on public lands through education, Intertribal and interagency collaboration.
• Sponsoring a semi-annual Intertribal/federal agency/non-profit gathering to discuss the myriad of topics relating to Tribal co-management of public lands in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
